I had written a good paragraph on this artiste introducing him to you guys, and then I saw this video. I guess this video will tell you more than you ever need to know on who Shadez The Misfit is. I first met Shadez TM at the Casio East Sessions. He had a bit of crowd who seemed quite buzzed about him performing. I got to speaking to one of them about Shadez The Misfit’s work and he couldn’t offer up any more praises even for a chocolate biscuit (I just woke up and that’s the best I could come up with thanks to Tinie Tempah’s would you risk for a chocolate biscuit resonating in my head. Who says that??). I digress ever so slightly. Anyway, random guy in the crowd even said “before Cudi did that alien shit, Shadez been on it bruh”. So I looked into the guy’s eyes *cue Godzilla scary tune* and said “Yeah!”. That is one serious claim from a fan of an artiste who is still in the works. So I waited patiently till his performance and guys, despite the average sounds from the event’s speakers, Shadez TM came out sounding good and wasn’t disappointing. I actually got hooked. My cam battery died so I couldn’t post up half performance videos. Best part for me is Shadez is an artiste from London who doesn’t sound like a UK artiste. Yes, that might sound cliche but he really doesn’t which is a breathe of fresh air. His blend of music which one can be tempted to easily dismiss as Cudi-esque does have a sound, an identity to it.

I therefore went to his next performance and I got some footage of this spaceman. Swag, lyrics and beats on point, he delivered. I have to commend Sir Sleaze, his producer, for a beat he made for this tune Shadez perfomed called Lazer Wars. That beat is intense. So there you have it ladies and gentlemen, we do have a young uprising, and talented artiste called Shadez the Misfit and he is sure to be everywhere in your space soon – in a good way. No NASA flops (at least I didn’t use the chocolate biscuit line).
