Barbara Bui has been creating her signature collection since the late eighties, with sharp accessories and apparel silhouettes that are always sleek and sexy . Nontheless I find that she does not get a tremendous amount of press stateside compared to her contemporaries. Although I’m not an advocate of saturating the market with a brand I wonder if a luxury label can afford to remain ‘quasi’ unknown with a young generation of consumers who would embrace their product if they were exposed to it ?
